Japanese wood is hand-formed into the design of a chrysanthemum, then expertly covered with layer after layer of lacquer to produce the depth of colour and glossy sheen seen on this quality piece. Beautiful cherry tones accentuate the lines of the carved petals. Gorgeous for presenting any food, especially for cakes, or even used as a base plate for other decorative objects.
