Antique Kimono Haori Jacket - White Peonies & Grey Fade/ Mustard Gold

1920-1930s, Japan

Big, bold patterns! A very high quality piece from early Showa era Japan, this kimono jacket of soft drapey silk is masterfully printed with beautiful white peonies, dark grey and terra-cotta toned foliage, on a background of fade soft grey and mustard gold. The damask jacket is lined in a gorgeous silk of vermillion and ivory stripe, with designs of tokens. Loops available for front-closing ties.

This haori is great for pairing with any outfit to add interest, culture and colour, and can even be worn reversed to display the lining! Treat it as a cardigan with shorts and a tee in the summer, or pair with formal shirts, dresses, or even a soft turtleneck.
