These antique oak chairs are from the early Victorian era (1830s-40s) and are made Scotland in the stately Jacobean stlye. The caning on the seats and backs has been redone and the pair is in excellent condition. They make impressive decorative chairs in hallways, beside sideboards, or in nooks around the house!
