About the Artist: Wakako Senda is a ceramic artist residing in Okayama, Japan. Inspired by the rituals of gathering between friends and family, her pieces reflect pure comfort and the beauty of the food which is presented on her wares. Her style is greatly influenced by Lucie Rie, the renowned potter whose art-like pieces were in turn inspired by archaeology and features beautiful colours and lines.
