Antique Edwardian Ladies Straw Boater Hat

Antique Edwardian ladies straw boater hat from the 1900s, in amazingly excellent condition for its age. Thick golden straw is woven into a structured hat, with a wide serrated brim and decorated with a dark brown silk velvet ribbon and a bow to the back. Lined with a tailored lining which is much smaller than the large bowl as seen on the outside, which balanced out the large sweeping pompadour hairstyles of the age. Would make a dramatic piece decorated with large florals. Charming paired with eclectic outfits or period costume, or as a display or collector's items.
